I joined Country Side Insurance as the automobile insurance specialist in 2007.
Aside from insurance I stay busy as part owner of Ryser Farms. When I do have free time I enjoy fishing, playing guitar, shooting and hunting. I also enjoy traveling with my wife Amber to see and experience difference places around the world.
Needing a job at the time was the only reason I got into the insurance industry but It wasn’t long before I realized how rewarding it can be to see my customers able to resume their lives with no lasting consequences from suffering a major loss to their home or other property because I had sold them the proper insurance protection. I stayed in insurance thirty years and it is still rewarding.
When I am not working at Country Side Insurance I am traveling with my husband, Wayne, oil painting, or spending time with grandson, Brendan.
Hello, my name is Glenn Lee. A little personal background: I grew up in Daytona Beach, FL and lived there until 1991. After that, I attended Harding University in Searcy, AR where I studied business and psychology. After finishing my studies, I married Maeta Lee and we purchased our first home in Honey Grove, TX.
After a brief time as a Sears associate, I joined the team at Country Side Insurance in 1998. Since that time, I have specialized in farm, ranch, and rural property insurance, and more recently classic car, truck, and motorcycle insurance.
My primary hobby is restoring and enjoying classic cars. I currently own a small collection of classic Chevrolets, such as a 1957 Bel Air and a 1972 El Camino SS. When not tinkering on or driving the cars, I also enjoy working on historic homes. I have restored my 1901 Victorian home, and have recently purchased the home next door, also built in 1901, and hope to complete a restoration on it in the near future. If I’m not working on a house or a car, I do my best to find something to do outdoors such as hunting, fishing, and hiking. I have also recently added a Harley Davidson motorcycle to the collection of things with engines, and I hope to get a lot of ride time in during the warmer months.
I’ve been in the insurance business almost 20 years. I graduated for Harding University in 1997. After graduation, I began working in the insurance business full time. Glenn and I have a son Brendan.
In our community, we are involved in our church activities, local car shows, Brendan’s school activities, and local running events. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, running, fishing, and traveling.
